Sarah Dunaway - Kinesiologist, Yoga Teacher

Born and raised in California, Sarah’s passion for health and wellness began at an early age. Always involved in a multitude of sports, both competitive and recreational, Sarah found her niche in track and field. Due to her hard work on and off the field she attended the University of Northern Colorado where she studied Sports and Exercise Science for her first year of college. Due to an injury, she found herself back in California where she decided to finish up her education at California State University of San Marcos with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Sarah believes that health is more than just physical aesthetics. Health and wellbeing embodies mental, emotional, and spiritual awareness. She understands that the mental attunement and physical intuitiveness are essential to growth and development. With an insatiable desire to become an Occupational Therapist specializing in Yoga Therapy, Sarah continues to learn and grow within the field of health sciences with her certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and teaching yoga as a registered yoga therapist (RYT200).
Her dedication and desire to help people optimize their overall health and wellbeing is achieved through holistic methods such as proper fitness techniques and functional nutrition plans specific to each individual.
