Ambrose Lisowe Strength & Conditioning Specialist
Born and raised in rural Wisconsin, Ambrose lived an active lifestyle from an early age. Playing many different sports and staying involved with the family dairy farm played important roles in making physical activity a daily habit. As an athlete, his happiest memories come from having amazing coaches that cared to take the time to get to know him as a person. These were markedly the times of greatest personal growth, athletic improvement, and sport skill development. For example, at age 14, a soccer coach empowered him to improve his soccer performance through exercise and nutrition. That turning point planted the seeds of passion for sports performance, nutrition and fitness.
Ambrose continued to pursue more information through his education where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from California Baptist University. While in college he accumulated valuable experience as a collegiate soccer player, semi-professional soccer player, and as an intern strength & conditioning coach for the Lancer’s Athletic Performance Center. These experiences provided a bedrock foundation for functional, holistic athletic performance using strength & conditioning.

After graduating, he became certified as a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM), Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM), and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA). Ambrose enjoys working with a wide array of people and athletes while utilizing creative and custom exercise training practices to improve function and performance while reaching specified goals. He specializes in strength & conditioning, athletic performance, corrective exercise, rehabilitation, and pain relief.
