"Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it"
~Plato

Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology:
More than personal training

The ultimate goal for fitness professionals is to just get people moving. Anything is better than nothing and recent statistics show the global cost of inactivity to be nearly $70 billion. However, there remains a large education and abilities gap in the workforce of the fitness industry. Most people don't know what a Kinesiologist is, but they do know what a personal trainer is. Unfortunately, most people need a Kinesiologist when they are looking for a personal trainer. Kinesiologists study the science of movement. They analyze their client's needs mechanically, metabolically, environmentally and psychologically. Kinesiologists follow scientific principles in their training methodology to achieve maximum results. They keep detailed records of everything and achieve maximum results while limiting risk of injury. This is the difference. No fad workouts or injury inducing exercises. Kinesiologists give their clients exactly what they need, when they need it.

Special Needs and Rehabilitative Training

As Kinesiologists, we focus on movement science. We cater to and specialize those in need of rehabilitation and those with disabilities.
Our experience with disabled populations includes (but is not limited to): Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy, Brain/Spinal Cord Injuries, Fibromyalgia, and Arthritis (RA and OA).
Our experience with rehabilitation ranges from athletes trying to return from an injury to seniors who are just looking to stay mobile and reduce pain.

Sports Performance Training

Training athletes is not just about making them stronger through bigger muscles. It is also about making them stronger, faster, and more powerful through efficient movement. Our performance training also includes injury prevention and recovery to keep athletes on the field and get them back from injury as quick as possible.
